1.1 When to select the playing system?
As with the players in your line-up, the playing system must be selected prior to the start of
the matchday.
1.2 When is a Premium formation valid?
A playing system considered as premium will be valid as long as the administrator has this
feature configured in the league settings. If this option has been deactivated, any user with a
Premium formation selected will not be able to score points. You must select a valid
formation prior to the start of the relevant matchday.
1.3 How do I know if my formation is valid?
If your formation is invalid, a warning notice will be displayed on the home screen and a
warning icon will also be displayed in the league.
2. CAPTAIN
2.1 What is the scoring system for the captain?
The player selected as captain will be awarded double points at the end of the matchday.
2.2 When should the captain be selected?
As with the line-up, the captain must be selected prior to the start of the relevant matchday.
The captain will not be considered if selected once the matchday has started. It is not
mandatory to pick a captain to score points for a matchday.
2.3 How do I select a captain?
The role of captain can be assigned to one of the members of the starting eleven from the
Team screen, where the line-up is displayed. To do this, select the ‘Assign Captain’ option
and indicate your chosen captain. After completing this process, you must click on the 'Save'
button for your changes to be applied.
2.4 How do I remove a captain?
Go to the ‘Assign Captain’ option and uncheck the captain that is currently selected. After
completing the process, you must click on the 'Save' button for your changes to be applied.
2.5 How can I see who the captain is?
The user will be able to see which player in their team has been selected as captain, as a 'C'
will be displayed next to the player's image in the line-up.
2.6 How do I view a captain’s points tally?
A x2 icon will be displayed on the photo of the player picked as captain and the points
screen will reflect that the user will score double points for the captain. A captain will only be
awarded double points if they play some minutes during the match. If they are replace by a
player from the bench, the new player will not be awarded the double score bonus.
2.7 What happens if the captain feature is deactivated in the Premium League
settings?
If the Premium League captain feature is deactivated prior to the start of the relevant
matchday, your captain selection will be lost.
3. BENCH
3.1 How many players can be on the bench?
A maximum of 4 players can be selected for the bench, one for each of the available
positions: Goalkeeper, Defender, Midfielder, Striker; according to the formation selected for
your team.
For example: when using a 4-6-0 formation without strikers, no strikers can be selected for
the bench.
3.2 Which players will be on the bench?
The bench will be made up of those players from your squad that have not been included in
your starting eleven, bearing in mind that your squad will consist of a maximum of 24
players.
3.3 When should your bench players be selected?
As with the line-up, the Bench must be selected prior to the start of the relevant matchday.
The Bench is optional and is not a requisite for scoring points from the matchday.
3.4 Can a goalkeeper substitute a defender that has not scored?
No. There will be four players, one per position that will substitute players playing in the
same position. For example, if your striker does not play they can only be replaced by the
striker you have selected for your bench.
3.5 Is it necessary to cover all the bench positions to score points?
It will not be necessary to cover all the bench positions to score points. In the event that one
of the positions on the bench has not been filled, there will be no substitute available for any
of the players playing in that position.
3.6 Can another manager buy a player from my bench?
Yes. A manager can buy a player from your bench via the regular player purchase
procedure. The manager will receive a bid that they can accept or reject.
3.7 Can another manager make a release-clause swoop for a player on my
bench?
Yes, as in the Fantasy leagues, a manager can make a release-clause swoop for a player
from your bench bearing in mind that the release clause purchase window closes 24 hours
before a matchday begins.
3.8 How do I pick a player for the bench?
Go to the Team screen to pick a player from the squad and add them to the bench or swap a
player from the starting line-up for one that is on the bench prior to the start of the relevant
matchday. The process for selecting a player for the bench is the same as for your starting
eleven.
3.9 How do I view the points for the players on my bench?
The points for players on the bench will be displayed in white while not substituting a player
in your starting eleven. The moment a player on your bench substitutes a player, their points
will be displayed in green, yellow or red, depending on whether their score is positive, zero
or negative. You will know that a player from your starting eleven was substituted by another
on the bench when you see a double arrow in the top left corner.
3.10 What happens if the bench feature is deactivated in the Premium League
settings?
If the Premium League bench feature is deactivated prior to the start of the relevant
matchday, your bench player selections will be lost.
