1.1 How do I sign a coach?

To sign a coach you can go to the transfer market. Coaches become available every day with a market value so that you can make bids. If your bid is the highest, and provided you have free places, the coach will be added to your squad so that you can field them.

1.2 What operations can I perform with a coach?

For the purposes of the game, a coach is just like any other player, so you can perform all of the operations with a coach that you can perform with a player.

1.3 How many coaches can I have in my squad?

Each manager can have a maximum of 2 coaches in their squad. This does not affect the total number of players that you can have, which continues to be 24.

1.4 Can I select a coach as captain?

No, a coach cannot be marked as captain.

1.5 Can I add a coach to my bench?

No, there is no place for a coach on the bench.

1.6 Can I earn points if I do not have a coach in my line-up?

Yes, having a coach in your line-up is not required in order to earn points on the matchday.

1.7 What happens if I field a suspended coach in my squad?

If your coach was suspended at the start of the matchday, he will not receive any points.

1.8 What happens if a coach is suspended during the match?

If the coach is suspended during the match, you will receive the points they earned during the match.

1.9 What happens if the administrator disables the coach option?

Don’t worry, you won’t lose any coaches you have in your squad, but you will not be able to field them or sign new coaches on the transfer market. If you wish to offload them, you must make an immediate sale.

1.10 How do I earn points with a coach?

A coach earns points based on the actions of their team. Please consult the table below. The coach’s points are assigned at the end of the match.

1.11 How do I view a coach in my line-up?

There is a space reserved for the coach on the line-up screen. It will only be visible if you are competing in a premium league and the administrator has activated the relevant option.

1.12 How do I check my coach's points?

There is a space reserved for the coach in the points section. It will only be visible if you had a coach in your line-up at the start of the matchday.

1.13 I want to sign a coach from the market and I can’t

Check that you have not reached the maximum number of coaches permitted in your squad and check that the administrator of your league has activated the coach option in the settings.

1.14 Can I mark a coach as a favorite?

Yes, you can use the market search engine to find your favourite coach and will be notified when they are available.

1.15 No coaches are shown on the market

There are only 20 coaches available in the game, corresponding to the 20 LALIGA EA Sports teams.

If all of the available coaches are signed during your league’s season, no coaches will appear on the market until a manager decides to sell a coach from their own squad.

Remember to be quick when bidding for them.

1.16 If I join a league, do I receive a coach?

No, when joining a league with your friends you will receive a starting XI, and this does not include a coach.

1.17 Can two managers have the same coach in their squads?

No, the same as with players, they are exclusive positions that cannot be repeated between managers from the same league.

1.18 What happens if a coach is sacked?

If a coach is sacked, their status will change to Not Available and if they were on the market, they will disappear, and any bids that have been made for that coach will be cancelled and the funds returned.
